Who’s on Your RE Investing Team?

Thinking about investing?

Isn’t it important to know who is on your team?

If you’re in it to make money, you might as well make sure you’re doing it the right way.

This is when you decide who you want to be on your real estate team.

Here are some things to keep in mind as you try to put your dream team together in the reinvestment arena.

Gather the real estate investors

When choosing your team, you’ll want to think about who would invest in real estate themselves.

Not only are these guys’ experts in their field, they also have the mindset of an investor.

Here are some ideas of WHO you may want on your team.

Mortgage brokers, insurance agents, bookkeepers, real estate agents, and so on.

Here are some other suggestions to keep in mind.

What if you need professional service from someone during this reinvestment process?

Think about who you will ask

When it comes down to investing, you don’t want to just ask anyone.

Asking someone who knows absolutely nothing about real estate could be a bad thing for you.

Always ask the people that you have known for quite some time and that you trust.

Sometimes, trying to pair your business with people who know nothing about “what you do” can leave you more of a headache in the long run.

Recommendations are the way to go

Let’s say you don’t know someone in the field and you need them ASAP.

This my friend, is when you look up your recommendation options.

You really want to ask other people what they think of so-and-so.

Going with someone who is trusted will get you further!

However, just because you got a recommendation, it does not mean you should skip out on checking them out and making sure they are legit.

While you’re going through the trouble of recommendations, make sure you’re also taking the time to interview the “perfect professional” that you have in mind.

Ask about the details

When it is your money you are spending, you should care a lot of about the details.

Knowing what you want to pay and what you’re willing to pay are important.

Also, when looking at different service options, don’t be afraid to ask questions and pay attention to the details.
